Greatness Looks Good on You

by Mark on September 11, 2009

Taking risks, accepting challenges, and pursuing big ideas can be intimidating.

But, what if you had the mindset that you could not fail and you did not allow yourself to fear the unknown?

What could you accomplish?

Dude - I’m all for taking risks, but honestly, that photo scared the crap out of me. Perhaps we should be talking about taking measured risks?

Stay out of the water…

Adam - it is one crazy a$$ picture, isn’t it?

That is what I think limits a vast majority of people - in that they don’t set their bars/ideas high/big enough and the fear of the unknown. It seems to me, most people enjoy the security of what they know, but I think that the biggest gains/learning are made when you go outside your comfort zone.

and that picture is ridiculous - can you say brown water :)

Like your blog, enjoyed this reminder to strive for more. Fear stops us from doing many things and leads us into very ordinary lives.

Dude! That’s one heck of a wicked photo! Seriously.

In regards to risk, I’m ok with taking them. So long as they’re calculated risks :-)

It would be great never to fear the unknown Mark. Is that a whale shark in that pic, or is it photoshopped?

A picture is worth a thousand words, as they say. It’s such a good photo that it grabbed my attention and forced me to read the post. Shows how much of an impact visuals can have…but words are also important I guess.
